CO2 industry analysis

Clean Green Cars is the only environmental website to hold both CO2 data and registration data for all cars. That means we can calculate the real, sales-weighted, performance of each manufacturer, each model range or each segment of the market. For example, we can work out the overall performance of a manufacturer taking into account the sales and CO2 performance of all its hundreds of different model variants. By correlating CO2 data and sales, our figures are not skewed by one particularly clean (or one particularly dirty) version.

We have prepared three tables for the first half of 2010:

• Sales weighted CO2 performance by segment
• Sales weighted CO2 performance by manufacturer
• Sales weighted CO2 performance by model
