What do I need to in order to have my car released?

When you go to the impound to get your car back, you’ll need to bring the following with you:

  • Proof of identity – This can be any piece of government-issued ID, including your driving licence, passport or national identity card.
  • Proof of ownership – You’ll also need to provide proof that you’re the owner of the vehicle by bringing your log book, bill of sale and any other proof you can find.
  • Your driving licence – You’ll need to bring your valid photocard licence too.
