TS70 is the catch-all endorsement code in the TS (Traffic Sign) family. It covers any failure to comply with a traffic direction or sign that does not fall under the more specific codes TS10 through TS60. This could include disobeying a police officer's direction, ignoring temporary traffic signs at roadworks, or failing to comply with other regulatory signs or directions not specifically covered elsewhere.
The penalty is 3 points and a fine of up to £1,000. A driving ban is discretionary but extremely rare for a TS70 offence. Most cases are dealt with by fixed penalty notice (GOV.UK, as at March 2026).
