What Are Licence Offence Convictions?

Licence offence codes start with LC. They cover driving otherwise than in line with your licence, after a false declaration about your fitness, having failed to notify a disability, or after a licence was revoked or refused on medical grounds. Each carries 3 to 6 points and stays on your driving record for 4 years.

Code Offence Points On your record
LC20 LC20: Driving otherwise than in line with your licence 3–6 4 years
LC30 LC30: Driving after a false declaration about fitness when applying for a licence 3–6 4 years
LC40 LC40: Driving having failed to notify a disability 3–6 4 years
LC50 LC50: Driving after a licence was revoked or refused on medical grounds 3–6 4 years

4 years runs from the date of the offence, or from the date of conviction if you were banned.
