Britains Elektromotive to supply Copenhagen climate change conference with charging posts

Elektromotive, the Brighton-based manufacturer of roadside charging stations for electric cars, is to supply the Cop15 climate change conference in Copenhagen. Three demonstration Elektrobay installations will allow the 15,000 delegates the opportunity to see the recharging posts in action, before permanent stations are installed in the Danish capital and the town of Odense. Denmark is intending to be a leading adopter of electric vehicle technologies, and the conference is expected to produce more commitments from governments around the world to construct electric vehicle charging infrastructures.
Elektromotive has so far installed over 200 Elektrobay charging stations in the UK, most of them in London, and has also supplied Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Saudi Arabia and Sweden.
